Group Therapy - $45/group

First Responder Partner Support Group : Currently screening for the next group starting late spring. This is an 8-week, closed group for all first responder partners. The purpose of this group is to support and normalize the unique culture that first responder families go through. My goal is to create a safe and understanding space to freely speak and be heard. You can also expect to increase your self-worth and independence while improving communication skills in your relationships.

I have partnered with Mentaya to help clients use their out-of-network benefits to save money on therapy. Use the tool below to see if you qualify for reimbursement for my services.

While I do not take insurance, I can offer a superbill. I also work alongside a non-profit that pays for first responders and their families to attend therapy. The Overwatch Collective will pay for three sessions in full and then cover 60% of the next five sessions, 50% of the five after that, and so on. You will only be responsible for the co-pay or if there is a canceled session under 24 hours’ notice.

  • AnchorPoint is a fee-for-service practice and are out of network for insurance companies. This allows you more control as you decide how to best use therapy to reach your goals. You know what you are paying for each session and your records remain completely confidential.

If you would like to use your out of network benefits, your therapist can provide the information you need to submit to your insurance company.

Suggested questions to ask your insurance provider to determine your benefits:

Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?

Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?

Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?

Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

As with using in network benefits, using out of network benefits may limit the control and flexibility you have over your therapy experience.

Please be aware that you are still 100% responsible for payment at time of service.

  • I currently provide EAP services through Empathia/Life Matters & MNFire. If you are utilizing your EAP benefits please note that in your contact form.

  • We accept cash, check, credit cards, and flex spending/health savings credit cards.

When booking your first appointment, a credit card must be provided and all service fees are collected by the end of each session. We request  24 hour cancellation notification to allow us to offer the session to other clients; less notice than this will incur a $100 late cancellation fee.

  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
